We had the opening ceremony for Ignite Your Intuition Tuesday night. 6 of us — all women — connected altars and hearts and went on a journey to heighten our “clairs.” Feeling more open and connected than they’ve ever felt. Already meeting new guides. Already having extra-sensory perception coming in different way than ever before. All held in a circle, in community, with kin. Not having to hold any of it alone. Not having to sense-make alone. No, you’re not making this up. You don’t have to do anything alone ever again. It’s a prayer and a promise.
Intuition is our birthright. Clairvoyance, clairsentience, clairaudience, clairgustation, claircognizance come standard in these bodies same as the physical senses of sight, touch, sound, smell, and taste. It’s our responsibility to hone each one, and be in right relation with all of the information we have access to.
Just because it’s largely been conditioned out of us, we must not pedestal intuition. To not give it more weight than other kinds of knowledge. To not give it more power than our own truth. Intuitive guidance, channeling, messages from other-than-human-kin is best received and integrated as part of well rounded “diet” of experience, knowledge, and information.
We must be honest about our own bias. There is a spectrum, and it’s important to note where on this spectrum we are at any given moment and where we sit most often: all doom and apocalypse or all love and light. It’s neither all one or the other. Planting your reality in one end or the other is an exhausting practice: with freewill the never-ending story of the universe is far too dynamic to root into. It’s all love and grief and birth and death, with everything and nothing in between.
To hold that prophecy, intuition, channeling isn’t good or bad- it’s in the heart and direct experience of the beholder. This is why it is crucial to do this work of reclaiming and honing our psychic senses together. To merge our heart fields and put together all of the pieces, especially the ones we cannot see ourselves. For the elephant is greater than the sum of it’s parts.
