Ignite your Intuition: An Initiation into the Mysteries of Mediumship
A 3-month hybrid group and 1:1 mystery school cohort. January - March 2024.
You’re invited to join a cohort of folks that are remembering their ability to harness extra-sensory perception and their intuition to communicate with their ancestors as well as our other-than-human kin. Together we will explore communicating with the unseen, creativity, ritual, altars, animism, boundaries, somatics, and energetic hygiene.
This is a devotional-deep dive. There won’t be much needed in between our time live, the magic and the work happens while we are together during gatherings. We’ll be together on Zoom twice a week for 75 mins each.
This mystery school initiatory cohort has two areas of focus: our ancestors of blood and bone, and other other-than-human kin — plants, animals, and landscapes. These two parallel threads will be woven together to create a rich fabric of relating and communicating with the unseen world that is rooted in ritual safety and our unique destinies.
I talk more about the program here.
As far as the ancestral piece goes, you can explore:
An extensive, by no means exhaustive place to start of WTF is Ancestral Lineage Healing.
Working in partnership with trusted powers when engaging in ritual practice.
For most of 2022 I ran a program I called “Back to the Roots” which was a monthly zoom gathering for folks who were connecting to the other than human kin where they were. It was an idea inspired by an off hand comment my teacher Daniel mentioned about needing to have elder-like relationships with other-than-human-kin to develop a vocabulary and capacity to help us understand our personal destinies. The most common feedback was that folks didn’t have the time to actually tune in with the trees or waters or birds that they planned to focus on. So here we are, 1 + 1 = 2. I wanted to remove the barrier to entry into ritual work which is usually just carving out the time to do the ritual. That’s what we will do together on Zoom. Little else (daily energetic hygiene and altar tending, about 1 extra hour a week, total!) is needed.
I maintain that this (in addition to ancestral healing) is an equally important and foundational piece to cultivating a rich spiritual, relational life.
It’s powerful and instant healing when we re-wild and reconnect to so-called “nature” together in community. (There is no nature that is separate from us.) We are able to have a much wider perspective to explore animism, seasons, cycles, and relating. We begin to weave together what we have each learned. To notice the patterns and find the synchronicities across climates. Even just seeing which beings each other chooses to commune with is an experience: sometimes it’s all different, and sometimes it’s all the same.
Time begins to unfold in a much more fluid, non-linear way when we tune into the cycles of Mother Nature. For me, it slowed down time. There is so much more to explore, to experience, and to get excited about. How does the moonlight dance through different windows of your home not only throughout the moon cycle but also throughout the year? When do the datura bloom for the first time? When do the birds arrive back?
As Daniel mused: this also gives us a much wider, sacred vocabulary to begin to understand ourselves and the other humans we relate to. It unlocks something in ourselves, these naturally occurring patterns, hierarchies, power dynamics, and archetypal forces. To color in our souls with something other than: I have XYZ job. I consume XYZ media. I live in this particular [deaminated] city. There's a lot more space, a lot more beauty that can come in. There’s more room for creation and essence and love. A lot of things can happen!
It's a beautiful practice of presence. Finding beings to spend time with, guided by your intuition. What is right in front of you that maybe you've walked past a million times and and never, never gave your full presence to because you were getting to where you needed to go? We keep unwinding how “nature” is a colonialist, toxic, destructive fiction— that you are separate from the trees and the rivers and the owls and the dandelions.
Maybe you've moved to a new place, and you're like, wow, these plants are crazy! Or you're like, wow, there's mountains here! Or there's no mountains here. It's so flat. There's no variation. Or maybe you've lived in the same place your whole life and you when you stop and think about it, you have that realization that you can do you can name more corporate logos than plants in that park across the street.
When we ignite our intuition and tune our attention to the ancestors and the other than human kin, we become able to:
Re-establish self-trust with your body and intuition. Repair relationship with Self + self-abandonment.
Unlocking the full capacity of love to receive (most people receive 1% of the support available)
Learning how to relate (more richness in relationships, emotionally corrective experiences, healing attachment wounding)

Can’t wait for you to join us! It’s going to be a lot of fun.
